My certification is through The Sleep Sense™ Program which advocates that healthy sleep habits make for healthy children. Consolidated sleep increases brain power, attention span, and repairs the immune system. A well-rested child is curious, energetic, playful, and eager to learn!
While a lot of sleep training methods are based around the idea of “crying it out”, I believe that your child’s sleep is more involved than that. I look at your parenting style and what you already know about your child when developing a customized Sleep Sense™ Program for your family.

Will my child cry?
Probably.
Crying is your child’s way of protesting change, and you can expect that making healthy changes to his sleep habits and routine will result in some protest. However, it is temporary and in fact studies have shown the parent-child relationship is strengthened when everyone is sleeping well. You are providing independent sleep skills that will go with him the rest of his life.
Be assured, you will be meeting all your baby’s needs while teaching him how to sleep for longer and more consolidated times.
A great night’s sleep for your whole family could be just a few nights away!

““It sounds silly, but I sometimes forget my baby is not a robot who will magically sleep when I do all the right things. Michelle had a lot of ideas that I would not have thought of and helped me find the sweet spot where I can progressively stretch out my baby’s nighttime feedings, AND make sure his quality of sleep is consistent. We’ve had a hard time transitioning him away from a swaddle, and now he sleeps at least 10 hours every night! It helped immensely to talk it out with someone who knows the ins and outs of baby sleep.”
