When we had our baby we decided we wanted to co-sleep. While this was so sweet we quickly learned that it made everything much harder. At 2 weeks our sleepy daughter started spending more time awake and quickly refused to be put down for naps. We found ourselves 100% contact-napping. There was no hope of giving up a feeding at night because as soon as my husband put her in our bed she woke up and would only go back to sleep nursing. We tried everything! We tried putting her down drowsy, using a swing, so many methods for putting her down while she was asleep. Nothing worked! When Poppy was 11 weeks old we decided we needed help. I talked with Michelle a few times and her warm, supportive personality ensured me that this assistance was important. Night 1 was rough, Poppy ended up in our bed. The next day we called Michelle and she helped us tweak our plan. Night 3 she slept all night in her crib and woke up 4 times. Night 4 She woke up twice. A week after we started we were having one night wake up. Having Michelle help us was HUGE in this sleep process. We especially loved her caring support and encouragement, as well as the tweaks and suggestions she made along the way. I would 100% recommend your family working with Michelle!”
